Facts & Finds is a general-interest site for curious people. We look into odd facts, find out whether they hold up, and explain them with the numbers and the caveats still attached. Along the way, we note down the books and useful things we come across.

How we work

• We start from sources. Each article is based on published studies, health and science bodies, and reporting. They're listed at the bottom so that you can check them.
• We say where the limits are. If a study is small, if we could only read part of something, or if a popular figure doesn't check out, the article says so.
• We use AI tools. Articles are written with AI assistance from that research. The site's owner is responsible for what gets published, and we correct mistakes as soon as we find them.

Who it's for

Curious adults. The site isn't aimed at children, and nothing here is medical or professional advice. For anything concerning your own health, please see a professional.
